The company’s strategy is based on longterm ownership. Berlin has gone through a very positive development in recent years, but it is still a very young capitol in Europe’s biggest economy – and importantly with real estate prices far below the ones found in other large cities in Europe. Consquently, Berlin High End focuses on maintaining and developing the properties with the objective of maximizing the portfolio’s longterm potential; we parcel properties, add apartments under the roofs where possible, renovate facades, staircases, windows etc. And more than anything we invest in the renovation of the individual apartment when tenants move out so we attract and maintain the right tenants.
The company is owned by approximately 130 shareholders. The company’s management consists of a board with four members and a CEO. The daily administration of the properties is outsourced to the German company, Ernst G Hachmann.
